During the 1920s he was in charge of the Art Studio named after Ya.M. Sverdlov in the Kremlin. He contributed to "The Pravda" newspaper as a cartoonist. He was one of founder- members of the Association of Revolutionary Russia Artists; a member of the Artists' Union of the USSR. Participated in exhibitions since 1906: 1906, 1907 - personal exhibitions in the Krauze Salon (Munich, Germany); 1909, 1913 - international exhibitions; 1927 - Prague; Vienna; 1929 - Cologne. He participated in all exhibitions of the Association of Revolutionary Russia Artists since 1922.His personal exhibitions took place in Moscow in 1914, 1936, 1939, 1950. Works of the artist are kept in the collections of the State Tretyakov's Gallery, the Central V.I. Lenin Museum (Moscow, Leningrad), Art Museums of Dnepropetrovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Lugansk (Voroshilovgrad) and other cities as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad. Artist's works were presented at Sotheby's auctions in London in 1996; in 1998; in 1999; at "Dorotheum" auction in Vienna in 1999.
